Mumbai: Godrej Aerospace, the aerospace arm of Godrej Enterprises Group, has announced a significant five-year contract with Safran Aircraft Engines, a leading global manufacturer of commercial and military engines.
As part of the agreement, Godrej Aerospace will manufacture titanium-based complex ventilation assemblies for LEAP engines, one of the world’s best-selling commercial aircraft engines.

The LEAP engines, developed by CFM International, power next-generation narrow-body aircraft across global fleets.

With this new mandate, Godrej Aerospace reinforces its commitment to advancing India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and strengthens its position as a trusted supplier to global aircraft engine OEMs.
The titanium ventilation assemblies are located within the main turbine shaft of the engine and require exceptional manufacturing precision.
The production process involves complex machining, precision welding, and advanced non-destructive testing to ensure compliance with the highest civil aviation standards.
